Petr Baskakov

Baskakov Petr 1

Petr Baskakov has been  the CEO since TransContainer’s formation as a joint stock company in 2006. 

Petr has over 24 years of experience in the Russian railway transportation industry, graduating from the Moscow Institute for Railway Transport Engineers in 1986 with a degree in the Management of Railway Transportation Processes.

Before joining TransContainer, Petr held management positions in the Podolsk Production and Railway Transportation Enterprise of the Federal Ministry of Transportation. 

In 1993, he was appointed head of Moskva-Tovarnaya-Kurskaya station, a Moscow rail-side cargo terminal. 

Between 1999 and 2000, he worked in management positions in Moscow Railways, and was appointed head of the Moscow Railway Transportation equipment for shipping cargo via various means of transport. Containers are durable enough for repeated use and can be stacked. Containers are divided into medium-duty (three- and five-tonne), which conform to former Soviet Union standards and are still used for shipments in Russia and the CIS, and ISO (20- and 40-foot) containers, which are used for Russian and international shipments. The universal standard unit TEU (twenty-foot equivalent unit) was introduced to measure transport flow volumes.

Vladimir Drachev

Vladimir Drachev 1

Vladimir became our First Deputy CEO in 2008, having served as our Deputy CEO for Production since 2006. 

He has over 24 years of experience in the Russian railway transportation industry and graduated from Krasnoyarsk Technical School for Rail Transport in 1970 and the Irkutsk Institute of Railway Engineers in 1982, majoring in railways operations.

Between 1975 and 1992, Vladimir held various positions in the East-Siberian and Krasnoyarsk Railroads. Since 1992, he was appointed as the first deputy head of Krasnoyarsk Railway. 

In 1997, he became the deputy head of the Department of Management of the Ministry of Railways. He then served as a consultant for domestic and international transportation at CJSC Development, Servicing and Forwarding of A form of payment for sea transportation of cargo, or the use of a ship for a certain period of time. Freight payment is determined by the volume of cargo delivered to the destination
or by the volume of cargo loaded onto the ship.

In 2002, Mr. Drachev was appointed as the head of the Department of Transportation Management of the Ministry of Transportation, and from 2005 until 2006 he served as the first deputy head of Sverdlovsk Railway.

Pavel Chichagov

Pavel Chichagov 1

Pavel Chichagov has been our Deputy CEO for Business Development since 2006.

He graduated from Gorky State University in 1975 with a degree in radio-physics, and graduated from the Finance Academy of the Russian Government in 1998, with a degree in banking. 

In 2002 he received a ph.d. degree in economics. In 2007, he received an MBA degree from the Academy of the National Economy of the Russian Government. In 2008, Mr. Chichagov also received a degree in corporate governance from the Higher School of Economics.  

He began his career in 1975 as an engineer with the Gorky Science and Research Radiophysics Institute, after which he worked at the Institute of Applied Physics of the Academy of Sciences (Nizhniy Novgorod) first as an engineer, then as a junior scientist, and finally as a scientist.

Between 1994 and 1997, he held the position of the Head of the Nizhniy Novgorod branch of the Center for Economic and Political Research. 

In 1997, he was a consultant for the Ministry of Transportation, and then, until 2003, held the position of the Head of Railway Transportation Reforms Department of the Ministry of Transportation. 

From 2003 to 2006, he was the Head of the Department of Corporate Structuring and Reform at Russian Railways.

Victor Shekshuev

Victor Shekshuev 1

Victor was appointed as our Deputy CEO for Operations in 2008. He graduated from Moscow State University of Railways in 1998 majoring in the organisation of transportation and management of railways. 

In 2001, he completed a professional training course in management at the Russian Railway Academy and, in 2006, completed a training course in management and competitive strategy (developed by the Harvard Business School) at Moscow Financial and Economic Institute.

Mr. Shekshuev began his career at Moscow railways in 1984. Between 1994 and 1998, he held various positions at Moskva-Passazhirskaya-Kurskaya and Moskva-Tovarnaya-Kurskaya rail stations. 

Between 1998 and 2004, he was the Station Master of Directors and Senior Management at Moskva-Passazhirskaya-Kurskaya station. 

In 2004, he became a deputy CEO of TransContainer (then a branch of Russian Railways). In 2006, he became our Deputy CEO for Economics, and in 2008, was promoted to his current position.

Konstantin Kalmykov 1

He was born in 1979. In 2001, he graduated from the Moscow State University of Railway Engineering, major in "Accounting and Audit". In 2001-2003, he worked as the accountant, and then as the Senior Accountant of the Department for organization of Transportation equipment for shipping cargo via various means of transport. Containers are durable enough for repeated use and can be stacked. In 2003, he was appointed as the Senior Accountant of the branch of the Government-owned Company "Centre for cargo container traffic of the Ministry of Railways of the Russian Federation".

In 2003-2004, he held the position of the Chief Accountant of the territorial division of the branch of JSC RZD, Trans­Container, on the North-Caucasian Railway. In 2004-2006, he worked as the Chief Accountant of the Centre for cargo container traffic "TransContainer", the branch of JSC RZD. Since 2006, he held the position of the Chief Accountant of PJSC Trans­Container.

Victor Markov 1

Victor graduated from the Gubkin State Academy of Oil and Gas, majoring in Law in 1998. He started working in the Department of Legal Due Diligence and Preparation of Legal Acts of the Legal Administration of the Russian Ministry of Railway Transport. From 1995 to 2000, he worked his way up from a leading expert to become Deputy Head of Department.

In 2000, he became Head of the Department of Legal Support for Relations with the Federal Assembly and reforms of the railway transportation of the Legal Directorate of the Russian Ministry of Railway Transport. 

From 2002 to 2003, he was Deputy Head of the Legal Directorate of the Russian Ministry of Railway Transport, Head of the Department of Legal Support for relations with the Federal Assembly and reforms of railway transportation.

From 2003 to 2006, Victor held the position of First Deputy Head of the Legal Directorate of OJSC RZD, and since June 2006 he has worked as our Director of Legal Issues.

Vladimir Aladin

Vladimir was born in 1958. In 1985 he graduated from Sverdlovsk University of National Economy major in "Economics and planning in supply of materials and machinery" (“economist” qualification). Vladimir worked in senior positions in the international economic activity in commercial organisations, including the companies with the state participation.

In 2002-2011 he held senior positions in the different structures of the state executive government.

From 2011 till 2014 he worked in the Russian Bank of the Regional Development in the position of Senior Vice-President, he was also a member of Bank’s Executive Board. He supervised the issues of cooperation with the governmental bodies, large investment projects, the assembly of economic safety and also questions connected with the stable functioning of the Bank and its business reputation keeping.

From 2014 till 2015 Vladimir was the Deputy Head of Security Department of JSC NC Rosneft.

From May, 2016 up to present Vladimir is the member of Executive Board of PJSC TransContainer.
