The International commercial terms are international rules acknowledged by government bodies, companies and businessmen throughout the world as an interpretation of the terms most frequently used in international trade.
As a rule, international commercial terms cover the sole rights and obligations of parties under an international purchase and sale agreement relating to the delivery of goods. Each term is a three-letter abbreviation.

International Commercial Terms (Incoterms)
are a set of pre-defined commercial terms published by the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) that are widely used in international commercial transactions.
